In today’s world, practicing healthy habits is very difficult, so we take refuge in unhealthy things like eating junk food, sleeping less and what not. Some minor changes at the very beginning and progressing gradually  will change you as a person. For example, if you prefer to have fried potato chips for your evening snack, then replace it with a seasonal fruit. Eat whole foods everyday and most importantly, chew your food. Your food intake should consist of a lot of green vegetables, lean protein, good fats, good carbohydrates and vitamins. If you want to take your diet food to a whole new level, then add a variety of dishes to your meal plans.

Sleep Well

Many of us do not care about our sleeping habits. We often go to bed just like that, without preparing. Yes, bedtime practices are important. They help us sleep well. For example, taking a warm shower before bed aids good sleep. There is another important thing which promotes good sleep – that is the mattress we sleep on. The right mattress provides support to our body and distributes the bodyweight equally throughout the product, whereas a wrong mattress can end up causing several injuries. Therefore, choosing the right bed mattress is absolutely necessary when it comes to your wellbeing.

Other habits like drinking too much alcohol, nicotine consumption, working on cellphones in bed, checking the time frequently, eating right before bed etc. can harm your sleep in many ways. So, ditch all the bad habits, and start afresh.
