Museum of Managua Nicaragua
The National Museum of Nicaragua is next to the Plaza de la Revolución. It contains an exhibition where you may learn about the country’s history and culture. The building also includes a huge collection of Latin American paintings, also to pre-Columbian ceramics, sculptures, and ancient implements. It is a must-see attraction in Managua. The museum costs €2 to enter and is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Archaeological Museum
This is yet another of Managua’s recommended museums. It is an exhibition containing evidence of human existence during prehistory in Managua, Nicaragua. At the end of the nineteenth century, some fossil footprints were discovered by coincidence, and a museum was created around them. It’s a fascinating visit where you’ll learn about how humans lived thousands of years ago. The admission fee is €4, and the hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Chocoyero National Park
This park derives its name from the great number of choco parrots that live there. It’s a park with waterfalls and deep woodlands. You can go trekking or camping in this natural park. There are many routes through the jungle that will take you to waterfalls. To avoid getting lost, it is best to take the routes with a local guide.
