Shuddh Desi Romance

A Yashraj production movie starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Parineeti Chopra and Vaani Kapoor was extensively shot in Jaipur. In one of the songs ‘Gulaabi ye sheher,’ one can see several famous spots including the Nahargarh Fort, Jal Mahal, Amer Fort and the Hawa Mahal. The director has shown the vibrant streets of Jaipur in their full glory.

Khoobsurat

No, we are not here to talk about the good looking Pakistani actor Fawad Khan but about his movie ‘Khoobsurat.’ Remember the scene when fashionista Sonam Kapoor visits the Maharaja of ‘SurajGarh Palace’ with Fawad Khan in the film? The director used  Amer fort as the setting place for the scene. One can see the beautiful Ganesh Pol gate when the actors have a conversation with Maharaja.

Director Priyadarshan’s only comedy/horror movie which was a huge hit was shot at the grand Chomu Palace in Jaipur. The palace is a wonderful authentic property to visit and spend time at.

Paheli

Starring superstar Shah Rukh Khan and iconic Rani Mukherjee, the movie ‘Paheli’ directed by veteran actor Amol Palekar has several significant scenes which were shot in Jaipur. One of the scenes was shot at the famous stepwell Chand Baori, and also at Narain Niwas Palace in Jaipur.
